125A 3 Phase Compact Power Distribution Box

Our 125A Compact is designed for applications where you need to take a single 125A three phase supply and distribute it into a practical combination of 63A, 32A and 16A circuits, without moving up to a much larger distribution board.

It is well suited to temporary power systems, workshops, event and production sites, industrial maintenance, compounds, exhibitions and installations where a 125A supply is available from a generator, building supply or upstream distribution board.

Despite the amount of distribution packed inside, the unit uses the same compact 366 × 572 × 450mm enclosure as the rest of our Compact range. At 24.5kg, it remains considerably more manageable than many larger 125A distribution boards, with integrated top-mounted carry handles making it easier to lift, transport and reposition on site.

Rugged polypropylene construction

The enclosure is manufactured from hard-wearing, impact-resistant polypropylene rather than a conventional metal enclosure.

Polypropylene offers excellent resistance to corrosion and many chemicals, while also being non-conductive and lighter than an equivalent steel enclosure. This makes the board particularly well suited to temporary and industrial environments where equipment is regularly moved and exposed to demanding conditions.

The enclosure is rated IP44.

Incoming protection and safe isolation

The incoming 125A three phase supply is protected by a 125A four-pole MCB, providing overcurrent protection and a clear means of safe isolation for the complete distribution board.

A phase rotation indicator is also fitted, allowing the incoming three phase supply to be checked quickly before connected equipment is energised.

Single phase outputs with individual RCBO protection

The three 16A single phase outputs are individually protected by two-pole Type A RCBOs, providing both residual current and overcurrent protection for each circuit.

Individual RCBO protection helps prevent a fault on one circuit from unnecessarily disconnecting the remaining outputs.

Three phase distribution

The unit provides:

• 2 × 63A three phase outputs
• 2 × 32A three phase outputs
• 3 × 16A single phase outputs

This makes the board ideal for supplying downstream distribution boards, larger three phase equipment and smaller single phase loads from one 125A source.

Variable RCD protection

The three phase outputs are supplied with variable RCD protection, allowing the protection to be matched to the downstream installation.

Trip sensitivity can be adjusted from 30mA up to 10A, with adjustable time delay from instantaneous up to 10 seconds.

This is particularly useful when feeding downstream distribution where RCD discrimination may be required.

The current variable RCD option is supplied without an override key switch.
