16A 2 Way Y Splitter Cable, 16A Plug to 2 × 16A Sockets 2.5mm² H07RN-F

This is our 16A 2-way splitter cable for stage, touring, event and temporary power applications where you need to split a single 16A supply into two 16A outlets.

Built using genuine PCE connectors and 2.5mm² H07RN-F heavy duty rubber cable, it gives you a simple, rugged way of powering two pieces of equipment from one 16A supply without needing a separate distribution box.

It’s ideal for lighting, audio, LED fixtures, stage equipment, marquees, exhibitions and temporary installations where a compact power split is required.

Proper cable, built for real use

We build these using 2.5mm² H07RN-F heavy duty rubber cable, selected for flexibility, durability and dependable performance in demanding working environments.

The cable meets the relevant harmonised standards and is UV resistant and flame retardant, making it suitable for professional indoor and outdoor applications.

Using 2.5mm² cable gives the splitter a robust construction while helping to reduce voltage drop, particularly where longer cable lengths are required.

The flexible Y split design makes it particularly useful where two pieces of equipment are positioned close together and running two separate supply cables isn’t necessary.

How the 2-way splitter works

The cable has:

• 1 × PCE 16A plug
• 2 × PCE 16A trailing sockets

The incoming supply is split between the two outgoing sockets, allowing two pieces of 230V equipment to be connected to a single 16A supply.

Important: this splitter does not increase the amount of power available.

Although there are two 16A sockets, the combined load across both outputs must remain within the rating of the 16A incoming supply.

For example, you could run two 8A loads, but you cannot draw 16A from both sockets at the same time from a single 16A input.
