32 Amp Single Phase Cable with Black Connectors

This is our go to 32A single phase extension lead for situations where you need higher capacity power and a cable that holds up to regular handling. It suits workshops, site cabins, temporary work areas, exhibitions, studios, plant rooms, control gear, and general site power. The midnight (black) connectors also make it a great choice for stage and production environments, where you want cables to disappear into the background instead of standing out.

Proper cable, built for real use

We build these using H07RN-F heavy duty rubber cable selected for flexibility and toughness in demanding conditions. It is a proven choice for professional environments where cables get dragged, coiled, stacked, and used outdoors as well as indoors.

Why we use 6mm²

A lot of cheaper 32A leads are built with smaller conductors. We use 6mm² because it gives you more electrical headroom and helps keep voltage drop lower on longer runs. In plain terms, that means more reliable performance and less stress on connected equipment, especially as cable length increases.

Connectors: PCE 32A midnight (black)

We fit genuine PCE 32A connectors throughout, using:

• PCE 025-6X plug: 32A, 2P+E, 230V class, 6h, midnight (black), IP44

• PCE 223-6X connector: 32A, 2P+E, 230V class, 6h, midnight (black), IP44

Black connectors are often preferred for stages and production because they are less visually distracting, while still keeping compatibility with standard 230V single phase setups.

Asset marking

Every cable is supplied with 12cm of clear heat shrink on both ends. It gives you a clean, durable area to add your asset ID, company name, barcodes, colour labels, or inspection tags without it peeling off or looking scruffy over time.

Built and checked properly

We build these like working kit, not box shifting leads:

• Bootlace ferrules used for tidy, reliable terminations

• Torque screwdrivers used so terminations are tightened to the correct specification

• Each cable is fully tested and PAT tested before it leaves us
