125 Amp Three Phase Cable 50mm with Red Connectors

This is our go to 125A three phase extension lead for serious temporary power setups where you want dependable performance, robust connectors, and cable sized correctly for the job. It’s ideal for site power, compounds, plant and generators, workshops, temporary installations, and anywhere you’re feeding larger distribution safely and reliably.

Proper cable, built for real use

We build these using H07RN-F heavy duty rubber cable, selected for flexibility and toughness in demanding conditions. The cable meets the relevant harmonised standards and is UV resistant and flame retardant, making it a solid choice for professional use indoors or outdoors.

Why we use 50mm²

On 125A applications, conductor size matters. We use 50mm² 5 core because it’s the right fit when you want to run higher loads with better electrical headroom and lower voltage drop on longer runs. In plain terms, it helps keep equipment happier and the cable running cooler when it’s working hard.

Connectors: PCE 125A red (5 pin)

We fit genuine PCE connectors throughout, using:

• PCE 045-6 plug: 125A, 3P + N + E (5 pin), 6h, IP67

• PCE 245-6 socket/connector: 125A, 3P + N + E (5 pin), 6h, IP67

That 5 pin layout (3 phase, neutral and earth) and the 6h clock position keeps everything consistent with common 400V three phase setups.

Asset marking

Every cable is supplied with 12cm of clear heat shrink on both ends. It gives you a clean, durable area to add your asset ID, company name, barcodes, colour labels, or inspection tags without it peeling off or looking scruffy over time.

Built and checked properly

We build these like working kit, not box shifting leads:

• Bootlace ferrules used for tidy, reliable terminations
• Torque screwdrivers used so terminations are tightened to the correct specification
• Each cable is fully tested and PAT tested before it leaves us
