32Amp Three Phase Cable with Black Connectors

This is our go to 32A three phase extension lead for situations where you want dependable power and a cable that holds up to regular handling, but you also want it to blend in visually. It suits stages, studios, production environments, exhibitions, workshops, site cabins, plant rooms, control gear, and general temporary power.

Proper cable, built for real use

We build these using 6mm² H07RN F heavy duty rubber cable, selected for flexibility and toughness in demanding conditions. The cable meets the relevant harmonised standards and is UV resistant and flame retardant, making it a solid choice for professional use indoors or outdoors.

Why we use 6mm² on 32A

A lot of cheaper 32A leads are built in smaller conductor sizes. We use 6mm² because it gives you more electrical headroom and helps keep voltage drop lower on longer runs. In plain terms, that means less stress on connected equipment, especially when the cable length increases.

For temporary systems, BS 7909 also points you towards using heavy duty rubber cable (H07RN F or equivalent) for outdoor and general use, and highlights using cable where the specification and conductor size can be verified.

Connectors: PCE 32A three phase midnight (black)

We fit genuine PCE 32A connectors throughout, using:

• PCE 025 6X plug: 32A, 3P plus N plus E, 400V class, 6h, midnight (black), IP44

• PCE 225 6X connector: 32A, 3P plus N plus E, 400V class, 6h, midnight (black), IP44

Why choose black connectors

Midnight (black) connectors are ideal where you want power to be less visually obvious, such as on stages, in studios, behind LED screens, or anywhere the cabling needs to stay discreet and not distract from the setup.

Asset marking

Every cable is supplied with 12cm of clear heat shrink on both ends. It gives you a clean, durable area to add your asset ID, company name, barcodes, colour labels, or inspection tags without it peeling off or looking scruffy over time.

Built and checked properly

We build these like working kit, not box shifting leads:

• Bootlace ferrules used for tidy, reliable terminations
• Torque screwdrivers used so terminations are tightened to the correct specification
• Each cable is fully tested and PAT tested before it leaves us
