This is our go to 16A to PowerCON TRUE1 cable for stage, touring and event use where you need dependable power from standard site supply into professional equipment. It’s ideal for lighting, audio, LED fixtures, stage racks, and temporary installations where reliability matters.

Proper cable, built for real use

We build these using H07RN F heavy duty rubber cable, selected for flexibility and durability in working environments. The cable meets the relevant harmonised standards and is UV resistant and flame retardant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Compared to larger cable sizes, this version is lighter and easier to handle, making it ideal for fast deployment, tidy installs and situations where cable management matters.

Why choose black (midnight) connectors

Black connectors are a great choice where you want cables to be less visible, such as on stages, in studios, behind LED screens, or anywhere you are trying to keep the setup looking clean and discreet. Functionally it’s the same dependable adaptor lead, just a more “stealth” finish for production environments.

Why we offer 1.5mm²

This version uses 1.5mm² cable, which is commonly used for 16A applications where runs are shorter and loads are more modest.

It gives you a lighter, more flexible lead that’s easier to coil, transport and deploy. For longer runs or higher load applications, we would typically recommend stepping up to 2.5mm² to reduce voltage drop and increase electrical headroom.

Asset marking

We supply all cables with 12cm of clear heat shrink as standard, giving you a clean and durable area for asset labels, company branding or inspection tags.
