Neutrik PowerCON True1 2.5mm Cable

This is our go to PowerCON TRUE1 cable for professional stage, touring and event use where you need dependable power and a cable that holds up to regular handling. It’s ideal for lighting, audio, LED walls, stage racks, power distribution, and temporary installations where reliability matters.

Proper cable, built for real use

We build these using H07RN F heavy duty rubber cable, selected for flexibility and toughness in demanding environments. The cable meets the relevant harmonised standards and is UV resistant and flame retardant, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Designed for repeated use on stage and on site, this is cable that can be deployed, packed down and reused without becoming stiff, tangled or unreliable.

Why we use 2.5mm², not 1.5mm²

A lot of cheaper leads are built using 1.5mm² cable. We use 2.5mm² to give you more electrical headroom and to help reduce voltage drop over longer runs.

In practical terms, this helps protect connected equipment and keeps performance more stable, particularly across larger stage setups or longer cable lengths.

Connectors: Neutrik PowerCON TRUE1

We use genuine Neutrik TRUE1 connectors throughout, built for professional power distribution in entertainment environments.

These connectors are:

• Locking for secure connection
• Rated for load connect and disconnect
• Designed for rugged stage and touring use
• IP65 rated when connected

We currently supply using:

• NAC3MX-W-TOP (male)
• NAC3FX-W-TOP-L (female)

As Neutrik update their range, these are being replaced with:

• NAC3M-TRUE1-S
• NAC3F-TRUE1-S

Both versions are fully compatible and meet the same intended application standards for TRUE1 power connections.

Asset marking

Every cable is supplied with 12cm of clear heat shrink on both ends. This gives you a clean, durable area for asset labels, company branding, barcodes or inspection tags without them peeling or wearing off.

Built and checked properly

We build these as working kit, not off the shelf leads:

• Bootlace ferrules used for clean, reliable terminations
• Torque screwdrivers used to tighten to correct specification
• Every cable fully tested and PAT tested before dispatch
